Touratech QV reverts to QuoVadis

The Touratech QV software is regarded as being the absolute all-rounder among navigation, route planner and remote tracking software systems. Part of the Touratech programme since 1996, the TTQV planning software (derived from the original name "Quo Vadis") has set standards and today is no longer the preserve of motorbike owners. The TTQV is even used in the world of professional sport, on expeditions, by rescue services, not to mention in research and development.

The continual developments and specialisation have resulted in a reorganisation of the marketing of Touratech QV, together with the maps and charts, as of January 1, 2012.  Joachim Bungert and Thomas Flemming, the masterminds behind Touratech QV, have founded the company QuoVadis Software GmbH, which will continue with development, support and distribution of the software and the QV Map range.

QuoVadis software would like not just to be a capable partner for its new and established customers, but will also be appearing straight away in a new version, QuoVadis 6, which all TTQV5 users can download free of charge:
  • A new and modern routing engine has been incorporated for the new Navteq maps with significant improvements in how the maps are displayed.
  • The online maps have been upgraded with Google’s routing functionality.
  • QuoVadis is now available in a freeware version for beginners offering the basic route planner functions (including Google routing) as well as GPS uploads and downloads. The online maps and all the maps from the QV Maps series can continue to be used.
  • And much more besides.
